As everyone says, this is the Binghamton we know and love! And although, the photos will show you a nice, pleasant day… don’t be fooled!

I would also like to add that it is a blessing that it’s finally this cold (global warming hasn’t won yet), but when I have 8:30 AM classes it’s not so fun to try to roll out of bed and face the bitter winter.

I hope you all enjoy the winter weather while it lasts! Hope it gets warmer for the upcoming holiday all you ladies love!!

Some examples in this photo are: Mama Mia!, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels

I’ve watched HairSpray, Avenue Q, Spamalot, and The Phantom of the Opera all in this winter break!

For the college student (with my taste of course) I’d suggest watching

Well folks, here we are, at the end of the semester. For me, that is today, but classes are not officially over until tomorrow (for those of you who have them). I don’t know about everyone else, but I’m glad to have one more semester down, because this means I have only one to go, as do most of my classmates here at BU in the MBA program that we started way back in August ‘06. Seems like so long ago, and yet at the same time it seems I find myself asking where the time went. I don’t know where it went, just that it’s gone, and we are all richer for the experience. I’ve decided to take advantage of the winter semester here through an International Business course, it’s only 12 classes at 3:15 each, four days per week for three weeks. We’ll see how that turns out. Until then, I wish everyone a very joyous holiday season, and I’ll see you all in January!

It’s a 40 minute drive on I81 North. If you’re a student, there is a great discount for season passes. I started to ski about 6 years ago when I first came to Binghamton. There is a Ski and Ride club that has frequent bus trips to Greek Peak. Otherwise, you can brave the snow and drive to the mountain. It’s great there and rarely crowded. It’s a great place for beginners.

Here are some photos of the mountain.

Skiing is probably the greatest sport I’ve picked up since I’ve been in Binghamton University. It’s very rare to find a college that’s only 4 hours from NYC and 40 min from Ski Slopes.
